About Michael P. Dallessandro & Associates:
MPD&A is a full service consulting firm specializing in various services for the Fire & Emergency agencies, school districts and local governments. We can also provide management and leadership training based on the sound leadership principles of the fire service to private sector businesses on a limited bases.
About Michael P. Dallessandro
Mike is a life member of the Grand Island Fire Company Incorporated. He has served as a Lieutenant of station #2 the home of Engine Company #4 and Rescue 7-1, and has also been the company President, VP, Secretary, Fire Prevention Officer, member of the Board of Review and a member of the Board of Directors serving from 2004-2009 and served as Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for 2005-2007. He has also been a New York State Certified EMT, EMT-II, EMT-4 Paramedic, 911 Dispatcher and also served as the Fire Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Grand Island from 1994-2000.
Mike works full time in public school administration and currently oversees various support services for a large school district located south of Buffalo, NY. He has also served as the assistant director of staff development for the Kenmore-Tonawanda School District where he was directly involved with the in-service training of over 600 support employees. Currently he directly oversees the transportation, grounds and facilities of his district and directly supervises approximately 150 unionized hourly employees, over 80 vehicles, an 8-bay bus repair facility and a 2.5 million dollar annual department budget.
